I just tried it myself. The BLK cartridge shoulders down at about 1.15 inches from the rim (where the neck starts). The shoulder of a .223 cartridge starts at about 1.45 inches from the rim. A .223/5.56 bore sighter will not work in a .300 Blackout chamber.
