Diaphragm located inside the straight tube separates the reservoir’s high pressure gas from the rest of the plenum. WebPressures are measured by diaphragm-type transducers of either semi-conductor strain gage or resistance wire. Their measuring ranges are 3 MPa max. for the former and 5 MPa max. for the latter. The diaphragm type is structurally applicable to the measurement of absolute negative pressures, so tensions in liquids can be measured by them.
