Samples were obtained from January 1996 to December 2002 and were processed by a HHV-7-specific indirect immunofluorescence assay (IFA). WebAll patients were HHV-6 seropositive. Anti–HHV-6 IgM antibodies were detected in the serum samples of 4 patients with a seroconversion in 2 patients (patients 1 and 2). The first serum samples of these 2 patients were negative for anti–HHV-6 IgM antibodies, and titers of anti-HHV-6 IgG antibodies were of 160 and 80, respectively.
