Im looking into fuel injection for my 496 stroker BBC. I found FiTech selling some kits for almost too cheap if that makes sense. After doing some reading I have found a few positive reviews. In your case I would go the 4 barrel intake and a carb though since your concern revolves around the current smelly carb. A carb can be pretty close (if not better depending on the efi tune) to the efi in many ways.
