WebThe 9Ah one blew a hole on the side and I tried replacing first just the dead cell, by taking a shortcut and cutting out the slot (yes, I know, it was terrible idea -- first repair of a flexvolt haha). That fix didn't work, but charging was fine, but there must have been other batteries that were dead because soon after the new battery got drained. WebCharges but doesn't work. I had a 60V grinder switch go out - sent back to dewalt for warranty repair. Was told by the repair center that when the switch goes bad the way it did, it damages the battery as well. They sent me one battery under warranty but the other was not covered. The batteries seem to charge fine but just won't power the tool.
