WebThe ultimate goal is to acquire the knowledge in music expected of a student holding a music baccalaureate. Students should take the entire sequence of music theory and music history core courses. This will serve as preparation for the graduate placement examination in theory and history and for graduate coursework in these subjects. WebAcceptance into both undergraduate and graduate music programs is based on audition (or submitted materials for various graduate degrees). A placement examination is required for all undergraduate theory courses and all graduate theory and history courses.
